A Place Designed for Meaningful Gatherings
The Grove Event Center was created with one simple purpose: to provide a beautiful, welcoming space where people can gather, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
Nestled on peaceful acres in Joliet, Illinois, The Grove combines rustic charm with thoughtful amenities — offering both indoor and outdoor settings for weddings, retreats, celebrations, and corporate gatherings.
Whether you’re planning a wedding ceremony by the pond, a retreat in the historic Persell House, or a celebration in our Great Barn, our property offers flexibility, beauty, and warmth.
Our Story
The Grove is more than just a venue — it’s part of a larger vision to serve our community.
What began as a beautiful property with deep roots has grown into a gathering place for life’s most important moments. The Great Barn stands as the centerpiece of the campus, while the historic Persell House (built in 1902) offers overnight accommodations and retreat space.
We believe spaces matter. The right setting creates space for connection, reflection, celebration, and joy.
